Life has been crazy for me lately. I graduated college and almost immediately started working full time for an awesome company here in Wilmington. Getting used to a full time job has been harder than I would have ever expected. I'm also having to find a new place to live, so as you can imagine things are getting hectic. But the one thing that is always on my mind is Grace & Twine and what I can do to get the ball rolling on this blog.
I'm about to get real with you all... I've had my fair share of mental breakdowns these past few weeks. Just ask my parents. I think it's pretty standard now that when they see me calling, they put the phone on speaker and prepare to calm me down. But if there is one thing about myself that I know to be true, it is that I am the most hardheaded human being on the planet and when I want something I will do just about anything to get it.
With that being said, I will make this blog happen. It may not be perfect to begin with and it may start off slow, but I will make it happen. I've toyed with the idea of just quitting because I feel like I have no time to breathe, but I truly believe that this blog will make me a happier person because I will be doing something that makes me happy.
So when I say we'll be back soon, I mean it. I know it's been a while since my last post, but y'all... sometimes life happens. And you've just got to pick yourself back up, brush the dirt off of your favorite dress, and take steps forward.
