Thursday Favs

It's almost my favorite season - fall! I think I get a little bit too excited about pumpkin flavored everything, colder weather, and of course wearing boots and booties. As summer transitions into fall, your wardrobe should transition as well. Below are a few things that I am currently loving!

1. Everly Kaleidoscope Shift Dress | I love a good shift dress and this one is PERFECT for the transition into colder weather. The colors scream fall, but can be paired with a pair of brown sandals or wedges for an afternoon summer outfit.

2. Tuckernuck Saddle Waverly Scalloped Tote | I've been obsessing over this bag for months. I love the simplicity of it - and the gold initial detailing really adds that pop.

3. Baublebar Festival Tassle Drop Earrings | I'm seriously loving this tassle trend, y'all. Can it just stay around forever? These earrings come in multiple colors, but I just love black and gold!

4. Dolce Vita Keiton Bootie | Goodness, DV really knows how to make a bootie! This shoe comes in both taupe (as pictured) and black. I'll take a pair of each, please!

5. Oliver Peoples 'Abrie' Cat Eye Sunnies | Okay, yes... I know I'm obsessed with tortoise everything. Every pair of sunnies I own are tortoise. But come on, the print is just so classic and cat eye sunnies are so in right now!

Check back soon for more posts! And as always, stay classy my friends.

Live Colorfully

I love a good patterned top, so of course my favorite one is none other than the Pattern Queen herself - Lilly Pulitzer. I'm loving all of the new prints, and I know Scuba to Cuba isn't exactly brand new, but it's just so perfect. This top is quite coveted... I had to go in store and have them special order it for me because it sold out online so quickly. But you can find other items in this same print on the Lilly Pulitzer website! Also, let's talk about these sunnies. They were so cheap but they're so perfect! I'm always looking for a steal, and these were definitely worth the buy. AND they're on sale right now for under $10! Shop away, friends!

Back to School

Okay, so I know I've graduated already, but I figured this post could relate to both the working girl and the back to school girl. If you don't already know, now ya know... I'm obsessed with gold. Gold everything. Most of my jewelry is gold - I only own a few silver pieces. So of course, most of the items I've picked on this list have some gold detailing, but come on... they're just so perfect! And of course I couldn't do a back to school post without a Lilly agenda - especially one in my favorite print! I've been using a Kate Spade agenda for the past year, and I love the simplicity of it, but OMG I miss the Lilly stickers! Either way... both agendas are adorable and perfect for a busy girl. I'm also totally loving the Kate Spade laptop sleeve - who doesn't love a good ikat polka dot?

Anyways, I know the University here in Wilmington doesn't start classes for another few weeks, but it's always good to be prepared. You'll need a good agenda to keep up with your crazy schedule. Especially if, like myself, you're involved in a lot of different things! So remember, you can never be too organized. Happy almost back to school, friends!

#Twinning

The (not so secret) secret is out y'all... I have an identical twin sister. Maggie and I have been attached at the hip since birth. She is my go-to for everything. We both attended the same University and literally lived together until just a few months ago when she moved about 2.5 hours away from me. Now we call each other every single day and laugh and cry with each other, instead of doing it face to face. She is my person and I'm so glad we were able to showcase our styles together with this post.

Maggie is wearing a pink Piko dress she purchased from Salty C Girls boutique (from my last post). I'm wearing a strappy black romper by Naked Zebra that I found at a boutique here in Wilmington. Maggie's wedges are Steve Madden, but are no longer made. My wedges are from Forever 21, and I'm OBSESSED with them. I just recently found that they are Steve Madden knock offs - and if you know me, you know that I hate knock offs. But seriously, these shoe's are amazing and they look like they might be a little bit taller than the Steve Maddens. I never want to take them off... but anyways. It's always fun to get a little bit dressed up. I own way too many dresses that I don't wear nearly as much as I wish I did. Maybe they'll show up on the blog sometime soon!

In the meantime, stay classy, friends!

American Blues

If you know me personally, you know that most of my clothing items come from smaller boutiques. I love finding fun, unique items... and these shorts totally fit the description. And y'all, they're seriously the most comfortable shorts that I own. But how did I find them? Let me backtrack a bit...

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I decided to stop at the Surfalrous Board + Beach Expo at the Tidal Creek CoOp in Wilmington, NC. While there, we stopped at a tent for a boutique called Salty C Girls. They had a rack of the loveliest little pieces and the owners were hands down some of the nicest people I had ever met. The boutique is based out of Topsail, NC so I promised them I would stop by when I was there this week for my family's annual vacation. I've visited them twice since I've been in Topsail, just to shop around and chat! They seriously have the most adorable selection of shorts. You can follow them on Instagram at @saltycgirls.

I'm so excited to be back blogging and doing what I love. I'm looking forward to great things!
